David Alan Evans
January 5, 1948 - October 21, 2021
Tribute
Dave is survived by his wife of 53 years Penny, eldest son Bob(Oriana), Andy(Jessica) and daughter Alicia(Mike), 8 grandchildren Daniel, Christian, Angelica, Miranda, Sophie, Zach, Brooke and Jarod. His two sisters and younger brother and sister-in-law Laurie. A devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Dave started his career at Powell River Motors as an auto body repairman, when his first child was arriving he started his next career at Macmillan Bloedel as a heavy duty mechanic for 38 years. In his retirement woodworking and antique and collectable cars were his passion. Dad (Poupah, Papa) would share his love of antique and collectible cars with his children and grandchildren.
Many in the community will remember Dave for his gifts of hand made wooden bowls that he would produce in his shop.
If you knew Dave, he was always your “friend on call” to help you with any projects or things that needed repairing.
A family service will be held at a future time.
