Tribute

Beloved daughter of Cindy and Andre Dalcourt.  Sister to Justin (Iryna) Wang and Jeremy (Jessica) Wang.  Step-Sister to Shannon (Bill) McBoyle and Amy (Mike) Koch.  A much loved granddaughter, niece, cousin and aunt.  Surrounded by the love of her parents Jessica passed away peacefully in hospice due to her underlying condition of the very rare, degenerative disorder BPAN.  We will miss her beautiful smile and are so grateful for all our memories and for every moment we shared with her.  We are also thankful for the lifetime support of our family and friends and for the many people and professionals we met throughout Jessica’s life who all strived to give her the best life possible.  In Powell River we would like to thank the staff at Bowness House, Golden House, CLBC, Inclusion Powell River, HSCL, qathet General Hospital, Evergreen Extended Care Unit and Dr Awapetu as we have all journeyed together on Jessica’s path with a very rare disorder.  Our hope is that information gathered from Jessica’s experience will help researchers in their goal to find a treatment or cure for BPAN.  She is our sweetheart and will be held close in our hearts forever.
